Calling All Artists: Bring Dapto’s Story to Life

We’re on the lookout for passionate artists to help us turn a blank wall into something truly special.

Dapto Leagues Club is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) to create a mural along a section of our Bong Bong Road wall – a vibrant tribute to the Club’s 70-year journey and the incredible community that’s been with us every step of the way. 

This mural isn’t just about paint on a wall. It’s about honouring the moments, people, and stories that have made the Club what it is today. We’re proud of our roots and even prouder of the community that keeps us going. That’s why this artwork will reflect not just our history, but the energy, warmth, and spirit that define Dapto Leagues. 

We’re inviting artists from all backgrounds to get involved— those who have a connection to Dapto and love the idea of celebrating our community through art. If you’ve got a creative spark and a genuine passion for visual storytelling, we want to hear from you.

Project Timeline: 

• Submissions Close: 31 August 2025, all applications must be submitted via the form below.
• Successful artist notified: 1 October 2025
• Final Artwork due: 20 October 2025
• Artwork installation period: November > December 2025

REQUIRED SUBMISSION DETAILS 

• Name and contact details; including phone number, email address and address
• Examples of previous public or otherwise artwork (up to six images) showing artistic style and approach
• A written outline of a conceptual idea and approach to the project including artistic techniques and style indication (maximum 400 words)
• Indication if you can commit to the proposed timeline and how long you would expect installation to take within the outlined tentative installation period
